Originaltitel steht in 240. Daß hier der Artikel "La" einfach weggelassen
wurde, beruht wohl auf einer falschen Interpretation der Regel 25.2C1.
Es gibt andere Felder, wie 246, wo auch die Artikel weggelassen werden,
doch diese haben keinen Nichtsortier-Indikator.
Die Einführung eines Nichtsortierzeichens für MARC wird jedoch vorbereitet (MARBI discussion paper 2002-05). In MAB und Pica kann jeder Titel gleich behandelt werden. Die Sprachbezeichnung wird in RAK/MAB2 als Ordnungshilfe behandelt, in MARC als Teilfeld $l, und nicht abgekürzt. |
Field
240 contains the original French title. The article "La" is omitted, due
to an obviously wong interpretation of rule 25.2C1. There are other fields,
like 246, where article omission is also done, but because they lack the
non-sort indicator. There are plans to implement a non-sort marker into
MARC, however (MARBI
DP 2002-05).
This is different in MAB and Pica: every title field has the same properties. The language of the translation is in a subfield $l, in German data it is added to the title, enclosed in <..>, and abbreviated. |
